The first half charts the journey of the man in India and Sri Lanka and the interval bangs, stopping right before Manoj decides to stay back in the island country, while his clan escapes to India via sea on a boat. The film, however, has failed to let the sense of urgency and depravity come through. The viewers are being told a lot of things, which were not translated well on screen. There's only one scene that stands out so far. But with most of it already shown in the trailer, the surprise element is lost. It remains to be seen how the second half will fare.
